National conference to address gambling industries growth



The National Gambling Board (NGB) is hosting a 2-day conference on 18-19 July 2019 in Pretoria, under the theme, ‘The Gambling Regulators’ and Operators’ Dialogue’. 

The gambling industry in South Africa could grow at a compounded rate of more than 5% to reach nearly R35 billion by 2021 and this growth requires a dialogue between stakeholders to lead to an effectively regulated and economically sustainable gambling industry.

The NGB is responsible for the oversight of the regulation in the gambling industry throughout the country and to preserve the integrity of South Africa as a responsible global citizen.

The conference will showcase the NGB, as a leader in the gambling industry, by sharing results of its latest research studies and encouraging discussions about the regulation of gambling.
